We have put together the ultimate mountain bikers short break! Four action packed days of crazy Enduro mountain biking from France to Switzerland and on into Italy!
From Chamonix to Courmayeur via Verbier and La Thuile for 3 full days of pure Enduro using ski lifts, plus one full day All Mountain style biking crossing the magnificent Grand Col Ferret (2537m) from Switzerland to Italy with sheer pedal power!

Singletrack heaven with glacier views, big mountain panoramas and the Mont Blanc all alongside friends and finished off with a beers and excellent food to round off each day!
To us that sounds like a good use of a long weekend!

The Schedule : arrival Saturday

DAY 1 of arrival (Tuesday): meet at the hotel in Chamonix.
Assemble bikes, technical checks and any last minute purchases. We will have dinner together in a restaurant where your guide will provide a briefing for the coming days.
Overnight in Chamonix.
Possibilty to visit Chamonix town.

DAY 2 (Wednesday) : Going directly with our shuttle bus to the telecabine at Le Tour to start our day of Enduro riding in the Chamonix Valley! The areas of Le Tour and Vallorcine contain superb technical, flowy singletracks with stunning glacier views of the Mont Blanc range. We will use the lifts several times during the day and finish the day with a fantastic 2000m downhill to Martigny in Switzerland!
Transfer and overnight in Verbier.

DAY 3 (Thursday) : We present you Verbier and its internationally renown bike park!
Since 2015, Verbier has taken the fantastic decision to open all its tracks to the practice of Enduro. A big day of biking awaits us thanks to a wide choice of lifts and trails its hard to know which is the most beautiful.
The views over the Swiss Valais will supply our dose of glaciers and high mountains for the day.
Sleeping well with tired arms and dreams filled with hairpin turns, our appetite for singletracks fulfilled!
Night in Verbier.

DAY 4 (Friday): Back on the classic route of the Tour of Mont Blanc.
A short transfer will take us to La Fouly at the foot of the Swiss Val Ferret. Here we begin the climb of the Grand Col Ferret (2537m), the first of the large mountain passes of the TMB.
With 1000m of climb, firstly on a 4x4 track followed by a beautiful trail to the summit, where a breathtaking view of the glaciers of the south face of the Mont Blanc range awaits us.
The descent into the Italian Val Ferret is technical with dozens of small tight turns. A big challenge for most!!
After our picnic lunch, a second short hike-a-bike climb (about 15mins) to reach without doubt one of the most beautiful paths in the Alps.
The balcony trail on the Mont de la Saxe is absolutely sublime with a panorama of the whole south face of the Mont Blanc range and the summit of Mont Blanc, well worth the effort of carrying your bikes!
The last descent of the day to Courmayeur is a delight, alternating rolling sections with hairpin turns. A delicious Italian ice-cream and a cold beer will top off this mythical day!

DAY 5 (Saturday) : Depart from Courmayeur with our shuttle bus for a short transfer to the Italian resort of La Thuile, now famous thanks to the Enduro World Series, World Cup. La Thuile is linked with ski lifts to the French resort of La Rosiere offers a wide choice of paths for Enduro riders of all levels.
With an incredible view spanning from the Matterhorn and the Mont Rose to the north, through the Mont Blanc range and south to the centre of the French Alps, Les Ecrins and La Meije!
With huge descents on dreamy trails giving us our dose of Italian sized adrenaline!

Transfer to Chamonix
Group departure and transfer to airport if required.

Physical
difficulty
  • You ride 2-3 times a week for 1h30 non stop minimum (road or mtb).
  • You can ride at aerobic pace with short anaerobic sections without excessive fatigue.
  • You are able to cycle 4-5 hours per day.
  • You are able to climb 800 meters vertical ascent ( 2400 feet) a day for 3-5 days and can push or carry your bike uphill or downhill on short sections( few meters).
  • You like to challenge yourself


  • Technical

  • You can manage your balance uphill and downhill on loose gravels, rocks and roots.
  • You feel confident in riding singletrack with few roots and rocks, on dry or wet terrain.
  • You can ride short rock garden of 30 meters.
  • You feel confident riding downhill for about 20 minutes non stop.
  • You able able to go up and down a step of about 20 centimeters.
  • You can handle switchbacks.
  • You can ride with a little exposure at times and would like to improve your skills.
  • YOUR BIKE
  • The best option is to ride on your own mountain bike, as it is familiar to you.
  • PLEASE NO XC bikes or short travel bikes (below 130mm)
  • A full suspension bike with at least 130 mm of front and back travel is required.
  • You need to have big grippy tires front and back, minimum 2.3 solid casing.
  • Possibility of renting a full suspension bike from 365 euros a week in the local sports stores (list on request).

    From easy to technical singletracks (some very technical) 'rocky and rooty' trails.

    Accomodations and food
    4 nights accommodation in hotels (based on double occupancy twin bedrooms). Each accomodations has a secure bike storage, bike-washing facilities, a bar with fresh beers ( there are important things in life! Dinners are 3-courses and each hotels can cater for specific dietary requirements ( veggy, vegan, gluten intolerant etc...), please let us in advance if you have specific diet.
    Lunch
    Our gourmet sandwiches are now reknown as we love to prepare some " deeluxe" lunch for fill your biker's hungry stomchs! So we provide a different sandwich freshly prepared everyday with delicious bread ( organic or whole wheat when possible) and local specialities. In addition we propose unlimited acces to trail snack and fruits!
    Pick up / Drop Off / Meeting point
    The closest international airport is GENEVA / Switzerland, about one hour transfer from Chamonix. The pick up and drop off from / to Geneva airport are included in the price of the trip. Please let us in advance your flight details. You will meet your guide and driver in Chamonix at dinner time. Please do not assemble your bike before you have arrived in at the hotel you'll stay in on saturday evening. Dependding wich trip you ride , you can leave your bike box safely at the hotel and find it back on friday
