Some terrain is demanding. But every descent is earned.
DAY 1 - ARRIVAL Settle in, assemble your bike, meet your guide, and review the route.Dinner is included — rest well before the adventure begins.
DAY 2 - Iconic Queyras link-ups
Let’s be direct: you’re here to enjoy yourself, so we’re going big from day one, so you leave with unforgettable memories of the Queyras and its landscapes. This first day sets the tone: limestone scenery and high-altitude pastures, straight-line speed and switchback trails. If the pace is on point, we'll fit in another run before the day ends. We're not here every day.Night in an authentic guesthouse
DAY 3 - Crossing Valle Varaita → Valle Maira
Big day. A very mountainous stage that takes us into Italy via some of the region’s most impressive enduro routes. Shuttle drop in altitude to reach the border — welcome to the mineral world, which may require a bit of hike-a-bike if you’re not into trials-style riding, but it’s the gateway to a descent truly worth it.We climb back up via another alpine line that will again require a bit of pushing at times — the kind of true mountain route once used by Queyrassins and Italians for haymaking or not-to-be-missed festivities.Lunch in the mountains, a tight espresso down in the village, and then we transfer to Col de Sampeyre, at the junction of old military tracks. From there, we take in the wild Maira Valley, jagged horizons, and gorges so deep it’s hard even to see where we’re headed — far below, at the end of the longest descent of the trip: a jewel to savor in the late-afternoon light.Night in a 3★ hotel
DAY 4 - Valle Maira gems & ancestral trails
Only two days in and already—an eventful trip. Where are we now? What does today offer? More great trail, with smoother climbing and more flow on the way down.Fun through every vegetation zone: some lines for the senders, some calmer options for the “pause-and-stare” crew. Well-earned pasta, a short transfer by shuttle, and just like that, we’re teleported to the heights of Val Grana, before heading down south toward Valle Stura.A proper alpine descent awaits, with the option to extend it with a few pedal strokes to access a historic military trail.Night in a 3★ hotel
DAY 5 - Valle Stura must-rides
Valle Stura may not look like much at first glance, but for those who love big elevation and perfectly built trails, this is where it happens. A strong riding community, great spirit, and years of local initiatives make this mountainbiking stronghold a well-kept secret that you will now be part of.We head toward the heights of Vinadio, reaching the misty summits of Mount Autes, before launching into a technical, ever-quickening descent. From there, the rhythm is given: antipasti, primi piatti, secondi piatti—shall I continue, or do you have the idea?Restaurant break, then back out into the neighboring valley where deciduous trees and chestnut forests rule. Another sustained descent in a deeply mystical atmosphere.Night in a hotel
DAY 6 - High-altitude tracks & iconic ridgelines
Several options for today: drop into the Roya Valley, or reach Liguria via the border tracks that open access to a few hidden gems.As you’ve guessed, we gradually shift from rugged mountains to coastal regions. We’re still far from the finish, but today is a leap into a different riding territory. MTB is fully part of the local culture here — every valley has its own network of beautifully built trails. You’ll have to come back to explore it all.Today: alpine descents into narrow valleys, windy shuttle climbs to favor downhill, and remarkable ridgelines that made the area famous.Night in a hotel
DAY 7 - A wealth of trails to finish in style!
Today’s objective: reach the sea. From the village of Molini, where we spent the night, we quickly gain altitude toward Mount Torragio to find the trail that best fits the day. Another beautiful descent heading down south — and once again, you realize that nothing is guesswork here when it comes to MTB.Descents are plentiful and link together almost magically on both sides of the Valle Nervia. Pigna, Dolceacqua, Bordighera, and its perfectly built MTB trails — we have plenty of options to finish the trip in style, and at the time that suits us best. The city is close, the sea is in sight — and it’s almost the end of a beautiful adventure that, in just six days, showcases the incredible playground that has inspired us since the very beginning of our story.See you out there.
